* Regular children's programming will not run during the school holidays.

A library staff member will be on hand at the Senior Citizens Club to assist with all library needs.

Library members can reserve books online via the Library Catalogue by visiting www.wellington.vic.gov.au/libraries or by downloading the Libraries Victoria app using their library card and PIN.

Once a book is available, members will receive a notification via email, SMS, or phone call once the book is ready for collection. Reserved books will be held at the Stratford Senior Citizens Club for collection during designated opening times only.

Wellington Shire Council Mayor, Cr Scott Rossetti, welcomed the refurbishment, saying the upgrades will provide long-term benefits for all library users.

“The Stratford Library is a much-loved community space, and these improvements will enhance the experience for everyone. We appreciate the community’s patience and are pleased to offer alternative services to keep people connected to books and programs during the closure,” Mayor Rossetti said.

For those needing additional services such as computer access and printing, the nearest library branches in Maffra and Sale will remain open as usual.
