Wellington Shire Council invites you to take an active role in shaping Future Wellington.

Have your say your way by getting involved in any way that suits you.

Starting 1 July 2024, you will be able to dive into an online survey, fill out a postcard to share your thoughts on priority areas, take part in in-person and online conversations, and more.

Visit the Future Wellington online portal below to find out more. The portal includes important information, documents, links, key dates, Frequently Asked Questions, contact information, and engagement opportunities.

Background and more details

We’re reviewing our Community Vision and the long-term plans that guide our direction and the priorities we deliver. The Community Vision 2031 was first created in 2008 and has been regularly reviewed. It represents what our community wants Wellington Shire to look like in the future.

We have been working towards the Community Vision 2031 along with our Council Plan 2021-2025.

Now, we want to check that this vision still matches your goals and priorities. Here’s a list of our current strategic documents.

Follow and find more information at Your Wellington, Your Say.
