Dogs on Leads

Apart from the nominated areas listed below, dogs can be exercised without leads, provided they remain in the effective control of the person walking them.

Designated Dog On-Lead Areas

All dogs are required to be placed on a lead at all times in the following areas unless otherwise specified.

Wellington Shire Local Laws Officers actively patrol these areas, and if you are found to have your dog off the lead in the areas listed below, you may be issued with a $330 penalty for the first offence, and a $660 penalty for the second offence.‍
