Notice of the preparation of an Amendment
The Wellington Shire Council has prepared amendment C114well to the Wellington Planning Scheme. The amendment has been made at the request of Crowther & Sadler Ltd on behalf of Cobains Estate Pty Ltd.
The land affected by the amendment is described as:
The amendment proposes to rezone the land from the Farming Zone (FZ) to the General Residential Zone Schedule 1 (GRZ1) and apply the Development Plan Overlay - Schedule 13 to support future residential subdivision in accordance with a revised Sale and Wurruk Strategy Plan and the North Sale Development Plan (2018). The amendment also proposes the introduction of the ‘North Sale Development Plan (2018)’ as a background document in the Schedule to Clause 72.08 (Background documents).

Any person who may be affected by the amendment may make a submission to the planning authority (Wellington Shire Council) about the amendment. Submissions must be made in writing giving the submitter’s name and contact address, clearly stating the grounds on which the amendment is supported or opposed and indicating what changes (if any) the submitter wishes to make.
Name and contact details of submitters are required for Council to consider submissions and to notify such persons of the opportunity to attend council meetings and any public hearing held to consider submissions. The closing date for submissions is 12 March 2023. A submission must be sent to: Wellington Shire Council, PO Box 506, Sale, Victoria 3850 or strategicplanning@wellington.vic.gov.au
The planning authority must make a copy of every submission available at its office for any person to inspect free of charge for two months after the amendment comes into operation or lapses.
