1300 366 244Wellington Shire Council (Council) gives notice under Sections 114 and 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 that it intends to Lease and create an easement in favour of Ausnet Ltd at 14 Velore Road, Kilmany VIC 3851 (refer to plan below).
The lease and easement are required over Council land to provide essential electricity supply and facilitate future development and use of the land.
All submissions must be received on or before 5pm on Friday 3 May 2024. Submissions will then be considered in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020 by Council or a Committee of Council (Committee) convened for that purpose.
If a person wishes to be heard in support of their submission they must so indicate in their written submission and this will entitle them to appear in person or by a person acting on their behalf before Council or a Committee to be held at a date and time to be advised at Council Chambers, 70 Foster Street, Sale. The meeting will proceed if one or more persons request to be heard.
Submissions made in accordance with the Act are not considered confidential and will be incorporated into the agenda and minutes of any Council or Committee meeting at which the matter is considered.
