Annual Food Registration and Renewal Date Change

Under the Food Standards Code as set by Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Victoria Food Safety Guide and the Food Act 1984 (the Act) propose a change to the Annual Food Registration and Renewal Date.

The registration authority, as defined under section 35 of the Act, in this case being the Municipal Services Branch of Wellington Shire Council, from 2018 onward will bring forward its renewal and registration date to October 30 of each year.
